Sometimes, as a creative entrepreneur, it’s hard to connect the business side of our brains and the creative outlet we all crave. When I start to feel that way, I reach out to a few vendors and see if we can design something beautiful, just for ourselves. I certainly took my time blogging these (I haven’t traveled for a wedding since 2019!!), but I am so excited to share these images with you. I stepped so far outside of my comfort zone for this entire trip-I traveled to Washington D.C. for an engagement session (you can see it here!), and the couple that booked me were the only people I knew. I went alone, which is not very usual for me, but I think traveling alone can really be an incredible learning opportunity. I reached out to a local florist, and my sweet engaged couple drove me to her house so I could grab a bouquet (seriously, they are the best). I brought my styling gear with me, and a dress and veil from J. Andrew’s Bridal here in Atlanta. To say I looked funny climbing in and out of Ubers is an understatement!! Audra was so kind to model for me, and I was able to create something beautiful just for the sake of soothing my soul. I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed making them…as always, don’t forget to celebrate love!
