Abbey & Logan’s wedding day was my last wedding of 2020, and what a YEAR it has been, y’all. I know you are all with me when we say this year was one for the books, but I am so glad I was able to finish my year with these two and their family and friends. Their wedding was so elegant and had little hints of Christmas everywhere, which just made my heart so happy. They had the sweetest first look in the church where they were married, and I kid you not when I say it was like I was walking around with celebrities while we were taking their portraits. So many people were honking, waving, and taking iPhone photos while we were walking around downtown LaGrange and it was just so much fun. They didn’t shy away from incorporating a little Christmas spirit with their design (yes, that is mistletoe strung around their reception space!!), but the way they used the colors and details were so elegant. I just had the very best time with these guys, and I felt like I was a part of their family by the end of the night. I cannot wait for more of this kind of bliss in the upcoming year. Abbey & Logan-thank you so much for allowing me to capture the love you share for one another. I cannot wait to continue to photograph this kind of happiness in a world with so much darkness lately.
