If you have been a bride of A Thomas Photography in the last six years, you know my second-shooter extraordinaire, Rebecca. She and I have been best friends since I was a senior in high school and told her we were going to be best friends…HA! If you know us at all, you know this story is indicative of our relationship (I mean, I have always been bossy but it turns out great in the end). She has held dresses, carried all of my bags, kept me fed while I was pregnant and had all-day sickness at weddings, she drives everywhere because I am an old lady and am so tired at the end of a full day, and she is always the best adventure buddy. So it was no wonder when it was time for her to marry Sam that we planned an epic adventure with all of the gorgeous details that fit her romantic personality to a tee. We traveled to Max Patch Mountain in the Highlands of North Carolina and shot some of my favorite photos to-date. It was about 20 degrees at the top of the mountain, but does that really matter? Nope-not to us it doesn’t!! We had the absolute best time, and I am so thankful for her friendship over the years. She has added so much to ATP and I wouldn’t be half of the business I am without her. I cannot wait to watch her walk into this new stage of motherhood (be on the lookout for her maternity session this week!). I hope you adore these as much as I do, and as always-don’t forget to celebrate love!
Thank you so much!! I love them and YOU!!
