I am so thankful that you are thinking of trusting me to capture your wedding day. Below are some questions I am frequently asked regarding wedding day coverage. Q: Do you offer engagement sessions?
A: Engagement sessions are complimentary with each collection offered with A. Thomas Photography. I always recommend these sessions to all of my couples (in lieu of choosing a similar session), because it allows me to get to know you. These sessions also allow you to be comfortable with my style of photography & direction.
Q: Have you ever been published in an online or print magazine?
A: Yes! I have been honored to be featured on many online blogs, such as Style Me Pretty, Magnolia Rouge, Inspired by This, Dear Gray, and Once Wed. I have also been published in The Celebration Society and Dear Gray Magazine. If you are styling your wedding with a feature in mind, I can take care of that for you after your wedding day! Q: What does it mean when you say you are a “hybrid photographer”, and what is your photography style?
A: When I say that I am a hybrid photographer, it is simply a fancy term to describe how I use both digital and analog film photography to capture your engagement session and wedding day. I believe that authentic, real moments that last a lifetime should be expected from your photographer, and I believe that using these mediums helps me to achieve that. Not to worry — all you will see are beautiful photos full of love!
Q: Do you travel?
A: If it were not unprofessional to scream the word “YES!” at you as loud as possible, I would do it. I love traveling, and it inspires my creativity more than you can imagine. I would love to come along for the ride, no matter where you are headed.
Q: How long does it take to get our photos?
A: Your sneak peek gallery will be in your inbox in 2-3 weeks, and your full gallery will be delivered no later than 12 weeks after your wedding day. I believe in putting in a thorough amount of time in editing your wedding gallery, submitting the images to publications, and blogging them as well. I want the entire experience to be seamless, and every detail to be covered.
Q: What do we do next, if we are ready to book?
A: First of all, get ready to have some serious fun. Once you are prepared for that, you will let me know you are ready to nail down your coverage, and I will send over a contract that includes all of the details of the collection you will be receiving. To hold your date, a 25% non-refundable deposit is due, and this will allow us to move forward with your engagement session.
