I am so excited to share today’s wedding with y’all! Meg & Chris knew when they began planning their wedding that they wanted it to be small and intimate, with only their closest friends and family there. Cue 2020, when they were suddenly ahead of the wedding trends! They held their wedding at the Whitman, a charming historic house in downtown Savannah, Georgia right across the street from Forsyth Park. I love a good rainy day portrait you guys, but let me just tell you-it FLOODED all. day. long. on their wedding day!! Thankfully, we had already talked about the possibility of it raining all day, and they both embraced the weather with grace and joy. We went out and took some of my favorite portraits in the middle of the rain, and caught a tiny break with only drizzle for some, too. Their ceremony was held in the courtyard with incredible floral design by Huckleberry Collective. They danced the night away in the main living room of the Whitman, and we just had the best time while the rain continued outside…seriously, it was so romantic!
